Valley Transit Community Outreach + Mobility Survey

In collaboration with Dantec Inc., BVP spearheaded a dynamic and inclusive community outreach initiative to help update Valley Transit’s Comprehensive Operational Assessment. This multi-phase process prioritized meaningful engagement, starting with in-depth one-on-one interviews and small focus groups to gather initial insights.

Building on this foundation, recommendations were refined through additional focus groups, an interactive online open house, and a far-reaching community survey. By leveraging diverse outreach strategies, the project team successfully connected with a broad spectrum of Valley Transit stakeholders—engaging more Walla Walla community members than previous outreach processes. This unprecedented level of participation ensured that the updated assessment reflected the community’s real needs and priorities, setting the stage for a more accessible and efficient transit system.
