Community Development Department
Project Overview
BvP developed a policy guide for the City of Bellevue to address potential health impacts from new developments near high-traffic roadways. The guide serves as an educational and advisory resource to support City-led planning and decision-making.
To create the guide, Broadview Planning:
- Engaged experts in transportation, air quality, land use, building codes, and public health.
- Conducted an extensive literature review.
- Identified a suite of effective mitigation strategies.
- Coordinated feedback from multiple reviewers.
- Compiled best practices and recommendations for future city planning.
This comprehensive document equips Bellevue with valuable insights to promote healthier urban development.
