Project Overview

Broadview Planning developed a comprehensive health equity framework and action plan for Seattle's historic Pioneer Square neighborhood. The plan is built on a foundation of "just principles" that address multiple determinants of health, including housing, economic opportunity, food access, and community cohesion.

Using an intersectional approach, the initiative defines metrics, strategies, and implementation recommendations that prioritize community-driven solutions and cross-sector collaboration. The plan serves as a roadmap for advancing health equity, with a special focus on historically marginalized communities.
