PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The BVP team facilitated the first-ever visioning process to plan for long-term business and technology improvements throughout Seattle’s criminal justice system. Working with an appointed steering committee, the BVP team interviewed over 60 stakeholders, including court staff, elected officials, attorneys, and community members, to gather detailed feedback on internal and external court processes. Stakeholder input formed the basis for the process of developing a community-informed vision, as well as action items for improving the court experience, streamlining court processes, improving accessibility for non-English speaking people, and improving inter-departmental coordination.
